In-situ Reprovisioning of Sha Tin Water Treatment Works (South Works) – Administration Building

Project Description:

The Key elements of the Administration Building include Mainland East Regional Laboratory, Visitor Reception, Facilities, Water Treatment Training Venue, Main Control Room, Security Control Room, Server Rooms, courtyard, green roof, car parking facilities, Dangerous Goods (DG) Stores, Elevated Walkway No. 2, connection to Elevated Walkway No. 1, building services and fire service installation.

The relevant works shall include but are not limited to the following:
1. Foundation, substructure and superstructure for the Administration Building with provision of structural support to the Elevated Walkway No. 1 (being constructed by others under CN 1/WSD/19) which will be linking up the existing WTW Logistics Centre and the South Works (being constructed by others under CN 1/WSD/19);

2. All civil, geotechnical, structural, building and architectural works, building services, fire services (including direct fire links), security systems, landscaping works including green roofs, as well as testing, performance testing and commissioning of all Works;

3. Centralized Dangerous Goods (DG) Stores;

4. Hard and soft landscape including ground, roof and vertical greening with automatic irrigation system and associated drainage system;

5. Service loading area with car parking and electric vehicle charging facilities;

6. Associated site works, access roads, pipes, ducts, trenches, and other ancillary facilities; and

7. Elevated Walkway No. 2 linking up the Administration Building and the South Works Pumping Station (being constructed by others under Contract No. 1/WSD/19).
